William A. Brockman

October 14, 1924 - December 08, 2011

Passed away suddenly at home, Thursday, December 8, 2011. Age 87 years.

Survived by his daughter-in-law Betty (nee Eckman), a granddaughter Lisa (Jim) Hansen a grandson Bill D. (Jennifer) Brockman, and two great-grandsons Will Hansen and Keane Brockman. Several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Ardith (nee Larson) Brockman, his son William E. Brockman, his parents Erwin and Anna Mae Brockman and a brother Waldon Brockman.

Veteran of the US Navy on board the USS Remey DD-688. Retired from NiCor Gas. Member of the First Presbyterian Church of Braidwood, the American Legion Band, where he served in many capacities including president and a 60 year member of the American Legion Post #39.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held at the Carlson Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd. Monday, December 12, 2011 at 10 A.M.. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 3 to 7 P.M.
