"Stevie"

Passed away suddenly after a brief illness, Friday, June 18, 2010. Age 41.
Survived by his wife Oyinda M. Davis, two loving daughters Autumn and Emma Davis; his mother and step-father Emma and Emmett King; brother MacArthur (Erica) Davis, three sisters Shannon Davis, Octavia (Anton) Newsome and Latanya Davis. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends also survive.
Preceded in death by his father MacArthur Davis.
Veteran of the U.S. Marines serving in the Persian Gulf. He received numerous awards.
He loved football and many other sports. Enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
A devoted husband and loving father to his daughters.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Joliet, IL 60435, on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Interment with Miliatary Honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday from 6-8 PM.
