Louis W. Patrick

August 16, 1937 - July 27, 2010

Passed away at his residence, Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Age72 years.

Survived by his wife of 50 years Ester A. Patrick (nee Price), two daughters Marie Clements and Beverly L. (Keith) Stump. Five grandchildren Melissa Farlow, Amanda Clements, Monica Sills, Christina Clements and Andrew Clements. Six great-grandchildren. Three brothers Edgar Patrick, Arthur (Janet) Patrick and Robert (Valarie) Patrick. A sister Mary (Patrick) Howard. Also several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his son Ronald K. Patrick in infancy, two grandchildren Damien Barton and Jennifer Sills. Two sisters Doris Moore and Helen Miller.

Louis was born August 16, 1937 in Shawneetown, IL. Graduated from Joliet Junior College with a degree in law enforcement, Louis was a 14 year veteran of the Joliet Police Department. He retired from Joliet Metallurgical Laboratories. He enjoyed woodwork, golf, fishing, scuba diving, gardening and computers.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Monday, August 2, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. Rev. Bert Baker officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00 p.m. until time of services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial to the American Cancer Society or Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated.
