Bruno E. Sarcletti

April 23, 1925 - February 01, 2010

Of Elwood, passed away suddenly at his residence, Monday, February 1, 2010. Age 84 years.
Survived by his wife of 61 years Norma M. Sarcletti (nee Boyles), a son Stephen (Debbie) Sarcletti of Florida and a daughter Kathleen (Thomas) Price of Custer Park, IL. Two grandchildren Ryan Price and Danielle Sarcletti. His sister Frieda (Americo ‘Val’-deceased) Vallera of Joliet and his brother Richard (Julie) Sarcletti of Channahon. Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins survive.
Preceded in death by his parents Emil and Florence Sarcletti.
Bruno was born in Joliet and a lifelong Joliet/Elwood resident. He retired from Caterpillar Tractor Co. as a Hydraulic Inspector after 39 years of service. Veteran of W.W. II serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. Member of St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge #296.
In his leisure time Bruno enjoyed fishing, golfing, swimming, gardening and was an avid reader. He and his wife enjoyed traveling though out the United States, having visited all of the lower 48 states.
The Sarcletti family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Hindo, Dr. Sankar and Dr. Gustafson for the exceptional care they have provided.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Friday, February, 5th at 9:30 A.M. to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery with full military Honors. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M.
