Hazel C. McCarney

April 12, 1914 - January 10, 2012

Of Joliet, passed away at Sunny Hill Nursing Home, Tuesday, January 10, 2011. Age 97 years.

Survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband Joseph P. McCarney, her parents Jacob and Mary Werner. Four brothers Clarence, Fredrick, Harold and Robert Werner. Four sisters Grace Loughran, Marguerite Pipping, Wilma Knupp and Vera Tibble.

Hazel was born in New Lenox, IL. April 12, 1914. She retired as a clerk having worked for Goldblatts, Walgreens, Lewis Bros., Klines and the White Store.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Saturday, January 14 at 10:00 A.M. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until time of services
