Stephen L. Rentschler
August 02, 1943 - February 11, 2010
Of Minooka, passed away at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, Thursday, February 11, 2010. Age 66 years.
Survived by his wife of 31 years Bonnie A. Rentschler (nee Brett) whom he married May 6, 1978, two step-sons Michael J. Mance of West Palm Beach, FL. and Douglas W. (Renee) Mance of Moline, IL. His sister Beverly J. Welsch of New Lenox. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Sherman O. and Marguerite Rentschler, his brother Richard K. Rentschler (2007).
Steve was a bus driver with First Student for the Naperville School District #204 for the past 21 years. He was formerly employed with GAF in Joliet.
His family would like to extend a thank you to Drs. Hindo, Danielson, Gustafson and Mouradi for the wonderful care given to Steve by them and their staffs.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Saturday, February 13 at 11:00 A.M. Fr. John Markelis officiating. Visitation will be held FRIDAY from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated.
