Passed peacefully at Sunny Hill Skilled Nursing Home, Friday, July 16, 2010. Age 91. Survived by five children Judy Fisher, Randy Reedus, Ronda Kaufmann, Richard Kaufmann, and Jamie Reedus, a grandson William Kaufmann. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and a sister. Started his love of baseball in his youth, played in the minor leagues before trying out for the St. Louis Cardinals. He then became known as “Mr. Baseball Fan”. A kindhearted, gentle man, who never held a grudge or had an unkind word. Funeral InformationFuneral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Monday, July 19, 2010 at 12 – Noon.
