James W. Reedus

September 22, 1918 - July 16, 2010

Passed peacefully at Sunny Hill Skilled Nursing Home, Friday, July 16, 2010. Age 91.

Survived by five children Judy Fisher, Randy Reedus, Ronda Kaufmann, Richard Kaufmann, and Jamie Reedus, a grandson William Kaufmann. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and a sister.

Started his love of baseball in his youth, played in the minor leagues before trying out for the St. Louis Cardinals. He then became known as “Mr. Baseball Fan”.

A kindhearted, gentle man, who never held a grudge or had an unkind word.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Monday, July 19, 2010 at 12 – Noon. Visitation Monday from 10:00 AM until time of services.
