Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Sunny Hill Nursing Home, Thursday, August 5, 2010. Age 87.
Survived by his loving wife of 67 years Josephine P. (nee Furlane), a son Brian (Sharon) Luksic, two daughters Peggy (Walt) Lindstrom and Cathy Talarico. Five grandchildren Amy and Allayna Luksic, Michael (Denise) and Christopher (Toni) Lindstrom and Nicholas Talarico; six great-grandchildren Nivaeyah Phillips, Drew, Van and Greenlee Lindstrom, Amber and Haille Lindstrom. A Sister Louise Fonderist and a brother Martin Luksic. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Barbara Jean Ruckman and a brother Matthew Luksic.
Retired from Olin Chemical, Veteran of the US Navy. Member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic and former member of the American Legion Harwood Post #5. Emil enjoyed fishing and was an all around outdoorsman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Monday, August 9, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated. Visitation Monday at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until the time of services.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Monday, August 9, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. . Visitation Monday at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
