Passed away Monday, January 7, 2013. Age 74 years. Survived by his loving wife of 53 years Jean (nee Redman) Pickett. His four children Cindy (David) Parks, Donna (Bob) Tadej, Chuck (Cori) Pickett and Jeff (Kristi) Pickett. Ten grandchildren Gary, Matthew, Kelly, Casey, Karissa, Krystal, Nicole, April, Dylan and Dalton. Several great-grandchildren. His sister Sherry (Harold) Minick and a brother Melvin (Sue) Pickett. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Norman and Reba (Nee Cox) Pickett. Joe was born December 11, 1938 in Veedersburg, IN. He retired from Caterpillar Tractor Co after over 30 years of service. Joe was also enjoyed bowling. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all. Lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan. Visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M.
