Of Joliet, passed away, Friday, October 6, 2006 at Rosewood Care Center. Age 92 years.\r\nSurvived by his wife of nearly 60 years Mildred E. Olson (nee Nelson). Three sons Richard (late Helen) of Naperville, Eldon (Margaret) of Granger, IN. and Paul (Pamela) of Pearlsburg, VA. He was the proud grandfather of Courtney, Erica, Jenna and Ryan Olson. His sister Esther Coole and brother Carl (Dorothy) Olson. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.\r\nPreceded in death by his parents Andrew and Emma (nee Johnson) Olson.\r\nBorn in Belvedere, IL on June 8, 1914, Emil was a 1932 graduate of Belvedere High School. Long time member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Veteran of W.W. II serving in the U.S. Air Force in North Africa and the Italian peninsula area. He was recently acknowledged as a 55 year member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 422.
