Of Joliet at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, Monday, November 3, 2008. Age 73.\r\nSurvived by his wife Judy A. (nee Brennan), five children John A. (Patti) Blatti Jr., Patrick E. (Dana) Blatti, Michael B. (Mary) Blatti, Kathleen (Silvio) Bartolo and Matthew (fianc Tabitha) Blatti, twelve grandchildren Eric, Jaime, Jason, Amanda, Jordan, Michael, Nicholas, Christopher, Kaleigh Blatti, Jaylin Beazley, Samantha and Rachael Bartolo. A brother Paul (Luz Maria) Blatti, two sisters Dorothy (Howard) Washam and Donna Kijowski. Sisters-in-law JoAnn Brennan, Sally (Joseph) Sitar, Janet (Gerald) Kiernan and Terri (Louis) Maffeo. Special friends LeRoy and Rosemary Sayles. Also numerous nieces and nephews survive. \r\n Preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Mary Blatti, three brothers James, Charles, Douglas Blatti, four sisters Dolly Hatton, Delores Brookman, Audrey Heidle and Diane Blatti in infancy. His mother-in-law Marie Brennan and father-in-law Edward Brennan and a brother-in-law Edward Brennan Jr. \r\nBorn in Wachula, Florida, grew up in Manhattan and has lived in Joliet for the past 50 years. Retired in 2006 from the University of St. Francis, formerly employed with Crown Trygg and National Bank of Joliet. Member of the Elks Club and St. Patrick Catholic Church.
