Of Minooka, Friday, August 28, 2009. Age 64 years.\r\n\r\nSurvived by her husband of 45 years Ray Helmich. Three sons Dennis\r\n(Georgia), Kevin (Sarah) and Brian Helmich. Five grandchildren\r\nCharlie, Jim, Laura, Kurt and Emma Helmich. A sister Ilona (Peter)\r\nMueller. Preceded in death by her parents Kurt and Jutta Kirchner.\r\n\r\nDagmar was born in Poland and spent her childhood in\r\nGermany where she completed studies in Mechanical Engineering. She\r\nmoved to the United States after her marriage at the age of 19. She was\r\ndeeply involved in church activities including Bible study, quilting,\r\nand altar guild. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and\r\ngrandmother. Dagmar loved gardening, needle work, genealogy and had a\r\nkeen eye for the beauty in God's creation.\r\n
