Survived by his parents Michael D. and Sandra "Bucky" Affarano of Shorewood, His paternal grandfather Michael Affarano and his maternal grandmother Patricia Bade. Five aunts Laura (Terry) Gunn, Judy Theilgaard , Sue (William) Brannagan, Sharon (Gene) Schnurr and Patricia (Gary) Eck. His faithful dogs Brandi and Buster. Also numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. \r\nPreceded in death by his paternal grandmother Jean E. Affarano (Oct. 24, 2004) and his maternal grandfather Donald Bade.\r\nMike was a sophomore at Minooka High School were he played Jr. Varsity Football and Wrestling. He enjoyed working out at Gold's Gym with his dad. Member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.
