Passed away at Salem Village Nursing Home, Tuesday, November 20, 2007. Age 103 years.\r\nSurvived by her daughter Mary Beth (Thomas) McHugh of Carmi, IL. Eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. \r\nPreceded in death by her husband Owen Edwards (1971), Two sons Billy (1998) and Benny (1985) Edwards. Three brothers and three sisters.\r\nFlorence was born April 22, 1904 in Burnt Prairie, Illinois to Arthur and Julia Files. She lived in Joliet for the past 62 years. Retired from the Messenger Electrical Company in Joliet. Member of Curtis Avenue Baptist Church.
