(nee Dahlgren) of Joliet, at Morris Nursing Home, Tuesday, May 16, 2006. Age 90 years.\r\nSurvived by a daughter Janice (James) Gilligan of Crest Hill, three grandchildren Cheryl (Roger) Failing, Edward (Sherrie) Gilligan and Joseph Gilligan, and great grandson Joshua Failing, a sister Tekla (Richard) Haglund of MI. Also numerous nieces and nephews.\r\nPreceded in death by her parents John and Ida Dahlgren, a brother Edwin Dahlgren, three sisters Catherine Dahlgren, Agnes Elvira Dahlgren and Edna Townsend.\r\nBorn in Joliet and lived most her life in Joliet. Had been employed by Olroyd Printing as a secretary and type setter. Member of Church of the Good Shepherd where she taught Sunday School for 50 years., was a member of the church choir and Covenant Women, and Joliet Professional Women's Club.
