She also leaves behind her loving and devoted care-giver, Jodi Watson. Fay was born on November 7, 1914 in London, England. She started sewing as a young girl and ultimately became a proficient seamstress and dress designer with her own business in London. At the height of the Blitz during World War II, her family's house was bombed which necessitated their move to Oxford. It was there that she met her future husband, William Jansa, an Army Medic, where he was stationed. They were married after the war on July 11, 1945. Fay later traveled on the HMS Queen Mary across the Atlantic Ocean to meet up with William and then lived in Waukesha, Wisconsin where Barbara and Susan were born. Fay continued her trade at home in Waukesha, as well as teaching, tailoring and fur remodeling at the local vocational school. She was also a charter member of The Cosmopolitan Club, an organization of war brides from around the world and the Waukesha Civic Theatre where she acted and was their costume designer. Fay's husband, William died in 1960. In 1963, Fay married Joseph Keating and moved to Villa Park, Illinois. They eventually retired happily to Lake Havasu City, Arizona and enjoyed 25 years together. Joe died in 1998. Fay was also preceded in death by her mother Yetta, her father, Frank and two brothers Alfred and Sidney. She returned to the Midwest in 2003 to be close to her daughters, living first in Waukesha for seven years and lastly at Willow Falls in Crest Hill. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
