Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, September 4, 2007. Age 83.\r\nSurvived by his wife of 64 years Betty J. )Nee Williamson) Ball, his two children Dr. Nancy J. (Ellis) Kennedy and William H. (Kathy) Ball Jr. Four grandchildren Ellis R. (Debora) Kennedy Jr., William H. Ball III, Heather J. Ball and Kristi L. Ball. Five great-grandchildren Alexandrea, Rachel, Ellis Bradley and Elizabeth Kennedy and Alyssa J. Fisher. A brother John (Florence) Ball. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.\r\nPreceded in death by his parents John and Daisy Ball and three brothers.\r\nVeteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WWII. Member of the VFW Stone City Post #2199 which whom he also was a commander, life member of the "Tin Can Sailors" and a member of the American Legion.
