90,of Shorewood, passed away peacefully at Joliet Area Community Hospice on Friday, January 7, 2011. \r\n\r\nSurvived by two sons, Michael Fodor of Marengo, IL, and Dr. David (Dr. Sarah) Fodor and grandsons Mark and Timothy, all of Evanston, IL. Two brothers-in-law, John (Maxine) Fodor of Morgantown, WV, and Mickey (Jean) Bozoti of Cleveland, OH, sister-in-law Letha Genter of Carroll, IA, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. \r\n\r\nPreceded in death by her husband Alex M. "Mike" Fodor, her parents, and a brother, Robert L. Genter.\r\n\r\nBorn October 7, 1920 in Peotone, IL, Jean resided in Will County for the past 60 years. A veteran of WWII serving in the US Navy WAVES, she served as recreation director for Manteno State Hospital for 10 years and then bookkeeper for Associated Radiologists in Joliet for 20 years. Former officer and longtime member of the Joliet Woman's Study Club, Advisory Board of Silver Cross Hospital and Silver Cross Encore Shop. Past President of the Residents' Counsel at the Timbers of Shorewood.\r\n\r\n
