Passed away peacefully at Sunny Hill Nursing Home, Saturday, January 18, 2014. Age 90. Survived by a niece Pamela (Elwood) Dixon of Jennings, LA, two cousins Adrianna Vidmar, Sylvia Smeets and several other cousins. Preceded in death by her parents Ausilio "Bacco" and Mary (nee Visconti) Betti, a brother Dominic Betti and a sister-in-law Josehpine "Josie" Betti. Born Valentines Day in 1923 and a lifelong Joliet resident. She was a longtime caregiver to her mother Mary. A member of the Church of St. Anthony, the Altar and Rosary Guild. A longtime resident at Sunny Hill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of St. Anthony, 100 Scott Street, on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
