Passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, on Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Age 48.\r\nSurvived by his five children Rachel (Devin) Book, Robert M. Garrington Jr, Kathleen and Bridget Garrington and Jeremy Hokinson, seven grandchildren, his parents Robert and Beverly (nee Posega) Garrington, three sisters Janice (Tom) Martin, Tammy (Charles) Martin, and Barbara Garrington, a brother Richard Garrington and his maternal grandmother Kathryn Posega. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.\r\nPreceded in death by his paternal grandparents John and Stella Garrington and his maternal grandfather Albert Posega.\r\nCollector of antique clocks and a Chicago White Sox fan.\r\nBeloved father, grandfather, son and brother who will be sorely missed.
