Age 90. \r\nSurvived by two sons Tom (Sue) Briese of Crest Hill and Terry (Bev) Briese of Joliet, one daughter Judy (John) Fitzgerald of Manhattan, one sister Eileen ((Paul) McDermott and one brother Paul Briese both of Joliet. Nine grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. A sister-in-law Marnean Briese. Also many nieces and nephews. His caregiver Stan.\r\nPreceded in death by his wife, of 64 years, Mary (nee Stiglich), his parents Paul A. and Frieda (nee Nelson) Briese, two brothers Donald and Clayton Briese. \r\nBorn in Joliet and was a life long resident. Past owner and president of Briese Florist for over 50 years. Veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. Member of Joliet Rivals Club, American Legion Post #1080, Northwest Recreation Club, and various other clubs. Harold was a loyal Cubs Fan.
