Passed away suddenly at his residence, Friday, November 17, 2006. Age 60 years. Survived by his wife and best friend of 33 years Lynn A. Kooiman (nee Knoll), Three daughters Christyne (Timothy) Clark of South Carolina, Lora (Grant) Alexander of Shorewood and Sara Kooiman of Joliet. Two grandsons Seth and Jacob Clark. Two brothers Thomas and Louie (Noreen) Kooiman both of Frankfort, a sister Judith (David) Douma of Indiana. Also several nieces and nephews survive. \r\nPreceded in death by his parents Louie and Anjean Kooiman.\r\nBorn in Blue Island, IL., August 19, 1946. Graduate of Peotone High School. Jim was retired from the Trucking Industry and a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army. He was also an avid Chicago White Sox fan.
