(nee Olson) - Passed away peacefully at Rosewood Care Center, Saturday, March 12, 2011. Age 92.\r\n\r\nBorn December 25, 1918, in Ashkum, IL. Daughter of the late Clarence and Mabel (nee Osmonson) Olson. Graduated from Morris High School – 1937 and Silver Cross School of Nursing – 1940. She was a devoted nurse serving the profession in many different capacities from hospital setting to private duty. She eventually took on the instructor position in the LPN program at Joliet Township High School Central Campus, from which she retired in 1978. She dearly loved her students and shared her love for the nursing profession with them.\r\n\r\nSurvived by a son Richard (Caina) Holloway and a daughter-in-law Madonna Holloway; two granddaughters Kristin (Bill) Noonan and Karen (Tom) Blaze; a grandson David Hollloway; four great-grandchildren Ryan, Owen and Molly Noonan and Ava Blaze; and a sister Evelyn Johnson. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.\r\n\r\nPreceded in death by her husband Allwin L. Holloway (2005), a son Gale A. Holloway, her parents, granddaughter Karla Jean Holloway, three brothers Everett, LeRoy and Clarence Olson.\r\n\r\n \r\n
