Of Shorewood, suddenly in Palm Beach, Florida, Saturday, September 26, 2009. Age 28 years. \r\n\r\nSurvived by his mother Patricia A. Schneider (nee Mattox). His brothers and sisters John (Michelle) Schneider, Shannon (Joseph Jr.) Sak, Jamie Schneider and Brooke Schneider. His grandmother Gladys Mattox. \r\n\r\nHis uncle Edward (Kathy) Mattox and his aunt Sandy Kehring. His nieces and nephew Kristina and Matthew Sak and Samantha Schneider. Cousins Amanda, Stacia, Brent and Ryan Mattox, Sarah, Shannon and Shaun Dames. \r\n\r\nAlso survived by Bruce M. Schneider (Father), Joan Mardel Schneider (grandmother) and paternal aunts and uncles. \r\n\r\nPreceded in death by his grandfather Eddie G. Mattox. \r\n\r\nMichael had extra special bonds with Brent Mattox (like his brother), Tanya Kryzak (like his sister), Allison Anderson (like his sister), Wendy Cohen (girlfriend), the man who acted as his father, his Uncle Ed, and his mentors, Chuck Bretz and Dave Neal. He graduated from Joliet Township High School West Campus Class of 1999, and was currently employed within the mortgage business in Del Ray Beach, Florida. Michael played hockey for the Joliet Jaguars and Providence Catholic High School. He was known for his loyalty to his family and friends, his light up a room smile, his bigger than life personality and his dance moves. \r\n
