Survived by one son William (Sue) Engle of Sebstapol, CA, two daughters Kathleen (Ron) Richards of Pembine, WI and Jeanne (Tom) Gray of Joliet, nine grandchildren Melinda (Todd) Lauster, Michael (Jenny) Ferguson, Daphne (Kelly) Meek, Carol Tomasko, Meredith (Chris) Clavenna, Ryan Richards, Kimberly (Scott) Perry, Tom Gray and Amanda Gray, 19 great grandchildren, one brother Wilfred Engle. Also four nephews.\r\nPreceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Christobel "Chris" (nee Pinn) in 1998, his parents William and Ina Engle.\r\nWas employed for Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 28 years, retiring in 1978. Graduated from Joliet Twp. High School Class of 1934. Member of Joliet Musicians Union for 69 years, volunteered at Silver Cross Hospital for 18 years and then with Provena St. Joseph Medical Center for the 6 years. Also member of Trinity United Methodist Church for over 50 years and was choir director for 29 years
