Suddenly at home, Saturday, March 17, 2007. Age 39 years.\r\nSurvived by his parents Patrick and Andrea (nee Rafac) Magosky of Joliet, his brother Cean (Anne) Magosky of Lockport and a sister Serena (DeMontraye) White of Joliet. Beloved uncle of Andrew and Karley Magosky. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.\r\nBorn October 30, 1967. Graduate of St. Patrick Grade School, Joliet Catholic High School and studied history of architecture and art, as well as art history at the University of Illinois, Chicago. A noted local Historian and a nationally recognized expert on the Civil War Era life and art. Original member of the City of Joliet Historic Preservation Commission and board member of the Cathedral Area Preservation Association. A news columnist for the Joliet Herald News, realtor, author and host of Historic Cable Television program.\r\nSeth had boundless energy for historic preservation.
