Of Shorewood, at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, Thursday, October 27, 2005. Age 84 years.\r\nSurvived by two sons Hal T. (Renee Polak - fiancee') Henderson, Jr. and Shane P. (Karla) Henderson both of Plainfield, Two daughters Sharon (George) Eckert of Melrose Park, IL. and Susan (Robert Brister) Henderson of Schiller Park, IL. Six grandchildren Chris Sorensen, Eric, John, Jessica, Trevor Henderson and Elizabeth Brister. His longtime companion Arlene Campagna and her family.\r\nPreceded in death by his wife Lillian L. Henderson (Sept. 19, 1995) and a daughter Sandra Henderson (Oct. 1973) \r\nVeteran of W.W. II serving in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division during the European Theatre invasion until the completion of the war. Member of American Legion Harwood Post #5. Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #300. Hal served in the CCC in Idaho as a demolition technician. Retired as a truck driver for Murphy Brothers.
