Survived by his wife Lea "Judy", his children Gwen (Steve) Pearson, Richard (Flora) Uphues, Brett (Wendy) Uphues, Wendy (Angelo) Novelli, Nichole (Shawn) Cummings, Bryan (Amy) Ogrizovich and Krysten (Paul) McGee, fourteen grandchildren, one brother Thomas (Jean) Uphues and one sister Leslie Cottington. Also numerous nieces, nephews and friends.\r\nPreceded in death by hs parents Gerard and Leslie Uphues, a granddaughter Emily Pearson and a brother Gary Uphues.\r\nBorn in Chicago and has lived in Shorewood for the past 23 years. Retired in 2004 from Chicago Finish Metal Co. where had worked for over 30 years. Member of St. George Serbian Church.
