(nee Funk) Passed away peacefully at Fairview Care Center on Monday, July 27, 2009. Age 93 years.\r\nSurvived by her loving husband of 63 years, Ralph O. Nordenberg, two sons David R. (Leola) and Kenneth A. Nordenberg, a daughter Susan R. (Kent) Heiland, five grandchildren Tammy (Joseph) Tomczak, Michael (Vanessa) Nordenberg, David (Lauren) Nordenberg, Bryan and Brianne Heiland. Two great-grandsons Evan and Owen Nordenberg. Also numerous nieces and nephews. \r\nPreceded in death by her parents Charles and Julia (nee Pickel) Funk, three sisters Vera Benson, Esther Gorges, and Cecil Funk, two brothers Eugene and Raymond Funk.\r\nBorn in Joliet and was a lifelong resident. Graduate of Joliet Twp. High School Class of 1934. Attended Bethel Baptist Church.\r\n \r\n
