Survived by his parents Arthur C. "Buzz" Barr, Jr. and Lois A. Nelson of Shorewood. One brother Kevin (Katelyn Neumayer) Barr, Two sisters Heather (Mark) Riha and Jaelithe (John) Eeten. Five nieces and nephews. Four uncles Rick (Jean) Barr, Michael (Ellen) Barr, Robert Barr and Kevin Nelson. Three aunts Janet Harvey, Alisa (Ted) Stanford and Teresa Nelson. His grandmother Martha Nelson. \r\n\r\nPreceded in death by his grandfather's Arthur C. Barr, Sr. and Morris Nelson. His grandmother Mary Kay Barr. Two uncles David Barr and Thomas Nelson. One niece Payton Eeten.\r\n \r\nWoody was born in Chicago on June 24, 1986. He was a graduate of Joliet Township High School West Campus Class of 2004 and a Joliet Junior College graduate with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Automotive Technology. Woody was a fixture at Louie's Pizza in Shorewood. Member of Boy Scout Troop 18 and the Order of the Arrow. He was the Boy Scout Troop 18 Instructor for Automotive Badge requirements. Woody's passion in life was cars, engines and racing his Mustang. His family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Steven R. Boas, M.D. for his care, compassion and treatment of Woody. \r\n\r\n
