Alan B. Mattea Age 65, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet, he was employed by the Teamsters Union Local 710 for many years. Preceded in death his father, Fred R. Mattea Sr. and a sister, Mary Ann (late, Robert) Meredith Survived by his son, Justin Mattea; his mother, Ann (nee Flannery) Mattea; his brothers, Fred (Rita S.), Richard (Rita) and David Mattea; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Per Alan's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Private inurnment and services will be held at Elmhurst Cemetery.
