Albert J. Delrose Sr. "Zik" Age 83 years, passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet on November 13, 1929. Army veteran during the Korean War. He was the owner and operator of Delrose Decorating for over 35 years and he was also employed as a barber. Member of the Joliet Elks Club and a former member of the Eagles. Preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Palma (nee Colona) Delrose; a daughter, Colleen Delrose, a sister, Mary Delrose and a brother, Raymond Delrose. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years (April 28, 1956), Mary Ann (nee Rehak) Delrose; his children, Marietta Ann (Ron) Martinez, Albert J. "Jay" Delrose Jr., and Carol Lynn Delrose; four grandchildren, Brooke Harrison, Andrea, Joshua and Nickolas (Alisa) Martinez; seven great-grandchildren, Mason and Gianna Harrison, Rhylee and Sicily Martinez, Xavier Martinez, Gavin and William Martinez; two brothers, Lawrence and Tony Delrose; two sisters, Lucy Welter and Angela Hennings; Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
