Obituary

(Nee Flowers) - passed away at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, Friday, September 21, 2007. Age 66 years.\r\nSurvived by her husband of over 50 years Hubert Hafner. A daughter Lyn (Greg) Wiersema of Joliet, two sons Ron (Sandy) Hafner of Carlock, IL and Bill (Jackie) Hafner of Madison, Alambma. Eight granchildren Kristina (Brian) Bradsher, Jennifer (Zach) Cherry, Joshua (Diana) Hafner, RJ (Cindy) Hafner, Jacob Hafner, Christopher, Lida and Brett Wiersema. Two great-grandchildren Brittany and Bethany. Two brothers Harold D. (Dorothy ) Flowers and Harry Lee (Dorothy-deceased) Flowers both of Joliet. Also numerous nieces, nephew and cousins. \r\nPreceded in death by her parents Harry L. (1970) and Mary E. (2004) Flowers.\r\nShe was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her loving family. Mary Ann worked as a Para Professional at Joliet Township High School East and Center Campus. Member of First Lutheran Church and formerly active with the Church Woman's Guild. She enjoyed gardening and decorating. Mary Ann devoted her entire life to her family and friends, she will be remembered most for her loving and caring ways.
