Ann Elizabeth Nedlo – A lifelong resident of Joliet, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 4, 2022, with her family at her side. Age 79.
Ann (nee Churchill) Nedlo is survived by two children Deanna (Nic Rocco) Seiler and Jason (Leigh) Nedlo. Her six grandchildren Madeline, Claudia, and Jacob Seiler, Marshall, Zephyr, and Celeste Nedlo were the light of her life. She is also survived by her sister Mary (Jimmy) Cinotto, sisters-in-law Rita Parkinson, Judy (Matt Ramuta) Hayner and brother-in-law John (Sharon) Nedlo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George "Frank" Nedlo and her sister-in-law Lori (David) Darguzis).
Ann was born January 3, 1943, the daughter of Donald and Dorothy (nee Thompson) Churchill. She graduated from Minooka High School Class of 1961. Most of her adult life she worked for Joliet Prescription Shops, primarily at Sugar Creek and Salem Towers pharmacies as a pharmacy technician. She will be remembered by many as the loving Grandma Ann. Her love for golf led to some incredible friendships with the golf girls and we believe she is now golfing and shooting under par daily. She also loved lunches with the exercise girls.
A special note of thanks to the incredible care given to her during her final week by Star Hospice. Especially Nurse Diane and Nurses Aid Kimmy.
Visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home and Crematory, 2320 Black Road, Joliet on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 4 pm to 7 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 9:15 am from the funeral home to the Cathedral of St. Raymond for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Private inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
