Antoinette M. "Toni" Wellner (nee Ferro) Age 73, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Joliet Area Hospice Home with her loving family by her side after complications resulting from a severe stroke. Survived by her husband, Albin Wellner; her children, John (Tina) Wellner, Tony (Juli) Wellner and Chris Wellner; her grandchildren, Tony (Kayla) Wellner Jr., Bryan Wellner, John Wellner Jr., Tara Wellner and Abbey Wellner; her great-grandchild, Emersyn Wellner. "We will miss her deeply, her life has inspired many to live life and never give up." Preceded in death by her father, Tony Ferro. She was born in Richmond, TN, living in Joliet, Plainfield and Morris. "Toni Girl" loved dancing, playing cards and loved her pinochle club. She volunteered at St. Joseph's Hospital, Catholic Charities and served as Past-President of the American-Italian Cultural Club. She loved cooking, baking and having friends from the nursing home over for the day. She would do anything for anyone and would always be the first one there to help out. Funeral Services will be from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home 2320 Black Road on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 9:15 am to St. Patrick's Catholic Church for a mass at 10:00 am. Entombment Woodlawn Memorial Park, White Swan Mausoleum. Visitation at the funeral home on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 3 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Toni's name to St. Patrick's Catholic Church or St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Rockdale would be appreciated.
