Passed away peacefully Saturday, October 30, 2021. Age 79 years. Survived by her husband of 51 years, Raymond three children Frank (Tricia) Blaskey, Elizabeth Blaskey and William (Diane) Blaskey. Seven grandchildren Joshua (Erin), Brianna, Lauren, Erin, Mackenzie, Jenna, and Cayden Blaskey. Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Elva (nee Viano) Gross. Born November 28, 1941, she was a lifelong resident of Joliet. Barbara enjoyed her quiet time alone watching her favorite tv shows, doing word searches, and being able to see her children and grandchildren. She also had a sweet tooth and loved her chocolate and desserts. The family would like to thank the staff at River Crossing of Joliet and Kindred Hospice for the compassionate care they provided. Visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Tuesday, November 2nd from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Interment will be private.
