(nee Fudge) – Passed away peacefully, Sunday, July 13, 2014. Age 77. Survived by her six children Debra Johnson, Lori (Tim) Nealey, Ronald (Barbara) Bernier, Steven Bernier, Sean (Melinda) Rolando and Erika (Mike Schmuldt) Rolando; nine grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and step-great-Grandchildren. A brother David Fudge and a sister Sheila Perfect; several nieces and nephews in England also survive. Preceded in death by a daughter Carol Coon, her parents Ronald and Lillian Fudge, a sister Pamela Rose Fudge and a brother-in-law Peter Perfect. Born in Beaconsfield, England, coming to America in 1955. She worked in the hospitality business for many years, including Colonial Steakhouse, Sheridan Hotel in downtown Joliet and Syl's Restaurant and Lounge, where she made many friends and created many long lasting relationships. Barbara had a very pleasant, friendly disposition. She was always the one who comforted those in need. She will be truly missed all who knew her. A memorial visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Friday, July 18, 2014 from 2:00-7:00 PM.
