Barbara Ann Vidano (nee Boseo) 'Barb' Age 59 years, late of Joliet passed peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at her home with family by her side. Barb was born in Joliet, on February 22, 1956. She was a graduate of Joliet Central High School, Class of 1974. Barb was an all-around amazing person. Her dedication to her family and generosity and selflessness to others were unwavering. She had a competitive spirit and love for sports, especially baseball (White Sox) and football (Vikings)! She enjoyed family gatherings, gardening, shopping for her granddaughter and bowling. Preceded in death by her father, Fred L. 'Woody' Boseo Jr.; brother, William J. Boseo; her maternal grandparents, Carl and Angela Fietterer; her paternal grandparents, Fred Sr. and Helen Boseo; her father-in-law, Bernard Vidano. Barb was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, David Vidano; her children, Christopher Vidano and Gina (Steve) Bianchetta, adored granddaughter, Rory Ann Bianchetta; her mother, Lorraine ( nee, Fietterer) Boseo; her sister and brothers, Bonnie (Richard) Simpson, Robert (Erin) Boseo and Brian Boseo; her mother-in-law, Marlene (nee Kuzma) Vidano; sister-in-law of Debbie (Craig) Perrine, Diane (Glenn) Gornik and Doug (Carol) Vidano. Also survived by adoring nieces and nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Funeral Services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 9:15 am to St. Patrick's Catholic Church for a mass at 10:00 am. Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Cremation rites will be accorded with private inurnment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Romeoville. In lieu of flowers, donations to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
