Obituary

Passed away at Silver Cross Hosptial, Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Age 79 years. Survived by his loving wife of 53 years Judy A. Ross (nee Lake), a son Richard (Tara) Ross and daughter Sylvia (Les) Middleton. Six grandchildren Zachary, Jordan, Jacob, Payton, Ava and Tanner. His brother Roger (Lisa) Ross, two sisters Karen (Bruce) Walker and Beverly Ross. Preceded in death by his parents William and Florence (nee Prescott) Ross. Bernie was born January 16, 1942 in Pipestone, Minnesota. He was proud of his heritage as a member of the Mdewakantan-Santee Sioux Nation. Bernie retired from Matheson Gas Services and Silver Cross Hospital. He enjoyed coaching at Belmont Little League and the bowling league at V.F.W. Stone City Post #2199. Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. Memorial services will be held at the Carlson-Holmqiust-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Road, Thursday, AUGUST 26TH at 11:00 A.M.
