Bobby R. Carroll Age 77 years, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, October 10, 2015. Born in Packard, KY on March 13, 1938 he resided in the Joliet area for many years. He was a veteran of the US Army. Retired from Triple A Galvanizing. He was an active member and Deacon of the Cherry Hill Church of Christ. Bobby was an avid fisherman and gardener. Preceded in death by his parents, John C. and Margaret E. (nee Meadows) Carroll and by an infant sister Jewell Dean Carroll. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Judith A. (nee Fleischauer) Carroll; one daughter, Geraldine (John) Kohlbrecher; his four-legged granddaughter, Jackie; his siblings, Joseph (Ann) Carroll, Roy (Donna) Carroll, Wanda Abney, Jack (Lenore) Carroll, Joyce (Bob) Blackford, Bill (Sandy) Carroll, John (Pat) Carroll Jr., Jeannie (Bill) Piper and Katie Carroll; numerous nieces and nephews, and a special friend Claude Hill. Visitation and Services will be held at the Cherry Hill Church of Christ, 2749 Lancaster Drive Joliet on Wednesday morning, October 14, 2015 from 9:00 am with the service to follow at 10:30 am.
