Bryce A. Dressel - passed away peacefully October 30, 2024, at Elmhurst Hospital, with his family by his side. Age 83 years.
Bryce is survived by his wife Karen of 58 ½ years,his children Bryce (Stephanie) Dressel, Greg (Gina future daughter-in-law) Dressel and Alyssa (Darrin) Battaglia; grandchildren Morgan and Keegan Dressel and Nicholas and Madeline Battaglia.
Preceded in death by his parents Harry and Marie Dressel and his sister Dorothy Dressel
Bryce proudly served in the United States Navy and was pipefitter with Local #597 for 44 years. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. He loved fixing things and spending hours at his work bench. Bryce had a great sense of humor, loved music especially Jazz, The Rat Pack and Ramsey Lewis. He enjoyed cooking on the grill, and was lovingly known as the "Grill Master". His greatest love was his family and spending time with them was always a priority.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 1711 Burry Circle Dr. Crest Hill, Tuesday, November 26th at 10:00 A.M. Memorial visitation will be at Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd, Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 .P.M. Inurnment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
