Passed away peacefully at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, Thursday, October 11, 2007. Age 83.\r\nSurvived by a daughter Patricia (James) Dalton of Lockport, and a son William (Char) Engler Sr. of Hixton, WI. Three grandchildren Michael R. Crawford fo Centralia, IL, Heather (Brad) Arnold fo Alma Center, WI and William Engler Jr. of Hixton, WI. Two great-grandchildren Bethany and Jordan Arnold.\r\nPreceded in death by her husband Edward "Swede" Carlson and her parents.\r\nA nurse for over 55 years. She devoted her life to helping others. Retired from Salem Village and a member of the VFW Cantigney Post 367 Ladies Auxiliary.\r\nPer her wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
