Passed away suddenly after a lingering illness, Sunday, October 26, 2014. Age 72 years. Survived by her loving daughter Cindy, three brothers Bill (Meridith) Davis, Leslie E. (Lois) Davis and LeRoy (Nancy) Davis.Three sisters Betty (Lloyd) Spencer, Marion (Phil dec.) Hester and Delores Jean (Alex dec.) Ferrari. Preceded in death by her parents William and Emma Davis, two brothers Jim Davis, Paul Davis, and one sister Helen (Galen) Arnott. She was a native of Holton, Kansas, and moved to Joliet in 1948. She was retired from The medical department of Joliet Correctional Center, where she had worked for 25 years. She was active in her Christian Church and enjoyed tending to her flowers three cats. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Friday, October 31 at 1:00 P.M. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 9:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 P.M.
