Carol Mills (nee Hohisel)

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Thursday, July 17, 2025. Age 87.

She is survived by her loving son Jeff (Raelene) Mills, grandchildren Kyle, Danielle, Jade (Jack), Dylan (Breanna), Damon, Michael (Stephanie) and great-grandchildren Amelia, Rhett, Carson, Kalliee and Takota. One brother Donald (Anita) Hohisel also survives.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Loren "Ray" Mills, her son Todd Mills and brother Leonard Hohisel.

Carol retired from Stateville Correctional Center after 29 years. She was a loving mom and grandma, spending time with her family was everything to her.

Funeral service will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Tuesday, July 22nd at 12 Noon. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of services. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
