Cheryl L. Doyle (nee Steinquist) – of New Lenox, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, April 27, 2022. Age 72. Survived by her loving daughter Michelle (Michael) Doyle-Tomaska, her grandchildren Ashley (Chris) Field, Brandon (Sarah Fiance) Doyle, Alexandra Zimmerman and great grandson Maddox Field; her brother Ron Steinquist and sister-in-law Beverly Kolodziej. Also surviving is Royal her four legged companion. Preceded in death by her parents Howard and Lorraine (Hausser) Steinquist, her husband Terry L. Doyle, sister-in-law Beverly Steinquist and brothers-in-law Leo Kolodziej Frank (Marsha) Doyle and Donald (Barbara) Doyle. Cheryl taught first grade at Woodland School in Joliet, for the majority of her career. Cheryl loved going to garage sales. She enjoyed making her custom made cards along with knitting, crocheting and scrapbooking. Cheryl always had a smile on her face. Her greatest joy was her family, especially being a grandma. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Friday, May 6 at 10:00 AM. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
