Chester C. Radeff
Age 95 years, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Chicago on August 23, 1925, the son of George and Mary Frances (nee Kostomaj) Radeff. Chester proudly served in the US Army Air Force. He was employed as an accountant for Wabash Fiber Box Company/ later acquired by International Paper Company with 35 years of service.
Preceded also in death by his brother, George Radeff and a sister, Mary Ann Ausick Cherney.
Survived by two daughters, Joanne (Stan) Nilles and Nancy (Dave) Pelka; his former wife, Mary Radeff; four grandchildren, Brian (Jenette) Jurczyk, Jennifer (Matthew) Thom, Billy (Christine) Pelka and Danny (Angela) Pelka; eight great-grandchildren, Genevieve and Juliana Jurczyk, Victoria and Alexander Thom; Nathan and Nolan Pelka, Cara and Colton Pelka.
Visitation for Chester C. Radeff will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles, 2320 Black Road Joliet, Tuesday December, 22, 2020 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 Noon. All attending the visitation and service will be required to wear a facial mask and observe social distancing. Entombment will follow the service at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum in Justice, Illinois
