Cynthia Louise Merriman – of Joliet, passed away on May 3, 2022 at West Suburban Nursing and Rehab Center in Bloomingdale, Illinois, after a lifetime of battling numerous illnesses. She was 63 years old. Survived by her siblings Joseph Merriman, Roseanne (Terry) Nickel, John (Wendy) Merriman, 2 children and numerous nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Rosemary Merriman and brother James Merriman. Cindy was born in Joliet on March 27, 1959. She attended Holy Cross grammar school and Joliet Township Central High School. She loved to play Bingo and enjoyed doing it every chance she could. Being born with many disabilities and having rheumatoid arthritis from a very young age, she spent her life trying to overcome her many struggles in life. She lived a life of suffering in so many ways. She will always be remembered for her huge heart. Her greatest joy in life was bringing joy to everyone else's life with her thoughtful and generous gifts. Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 901 Elizabeth Street Joliet, Friday, June 10, 2022 at 11:00 A.M
