Danielle A. Duncan

Passed away on Sunday, March 8 at Lightways Hospice in Joliet, IL. She was born on August 13, 1990 in Kankakee, IL

Danielle is survived by her father and stepmother Danny and Dorleskia Duncan; sister, Tammy Mullins; brother, Jared (Alicia) Duncan. Her grandparents Everett and Elsie Duncan and Ann Ciaccio. Two aunts Deb Smestad and Joy Ciaccio and two uncles Douglas (Rosie) Duncan and Daryl Duncan. She also leaves behind her "Best Boy" Roman, her beloved dog. He is being cared for and comforted by Danielle's good friend Eric.

Danielle was preceded in death by her mother Veronica Duncan (nee O'Connor), her brother Zachary Duncan, her maternal grandfather Ronald O'Connor and cousin Andy Castro.

Danielle loved spending time with her family and especially hanging out with her nieces and nephew - Taylor, Jenna, Serena, Elijah, Vivienne, Samantha, and Lily. As well as her many close longtime friends. Danielle loved every animal she ever met and chose dog grooming and dog walking as her career in life. She was employed at Top Dog Grooming of Saunemin. IL, where she was loved and appreciated by her many clients and coworkers. Danielle also loved relaxing in the childhood home where she resided, traveling with friends, painting, sewing, and all things Halloween.

Danielle was a free spirit and a rare and special person. If you were her family or lucky enough to be a friend in her close circle, Danielle was your "Ride or Die", the one you could call anytime for anything.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
