Danielle Mary Justo
Age 42, passed away suddenly, Saturday, October 31, 2026.
Born on May 24, 1984, in Evergreen Park, Illinois, Danielle was the beloved daughter of Nicole Justo (nee Manning) and Michael Justo Jr. She faced life's challenges, including a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis, with resilience and strength.
The absolute lights of Danielle's life were her family. She is survived by her devoted sister Jacqueline Justo and her cherished nieces and nephews, Alexia Whitman-Justo, Carmella Justo, Aaliya Justo, Alexis Justo, Sage (Lea) Justo, Isabella Ferrara-Justo, and Trenton Heath-Justo, Kyle Justo, who brought immense joy to her world. Danielle's immense capacity for love also extended to her precious pit bulls, Shilah and Jinx, who were her loyal, adored companions. She such a beloved niece, cousin and friend to so many.
Danielle is now reunited with her loved ones who preceded her in death, her father Michael and brother Mikey, her grandparents Yvette and Thompson Manning, and Mary and Michael Justo Sr. and her Godmother Michele Bochnak.
Her sudden departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on through the family she adored and the stories they share.
She graduated from Benedictine University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, a calling that defined her compassionate spirit. Danielle brought her heart and dedication to her role as a case manager at Molina Healthcare. One of her greatest joys in life was helping patients transition from nursing homes back to their own homes. She took deep personal pride in setting up each person's apartment, ensuring it was filled with all the comforts of home.
Danielle was a true force of nature who simply would not be told "no." Whether she was forcing you to go to flea markets or surprising you with unexpected gifts for no reason other than to say she loved you—even if you told her not to—she loved fiercely and on her own terms. Everyone loved spending time with Danielle, she will be missed more than words can say. She treasured the simple, joyful moments of life: getting her nails done with her mom, listening to musicals with her sister, taking her nieces to plays, taking her nephew to the movies, hanging out with "the littles," and snuggling with her pups. She loved connecting with family, whether over breakfast with her cousins or during long-distance phone calls with far-away aunts and cousins.
Visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Joliet, Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Services will begin at 12:00 P.M.
